Google Books [App Review]

Touting the largest libary of ebook titles in the world, Google's eBookstore launched to great fanfair earlier this week.  Not surprising, an eBook app soon followed.  Cloud syncing allows readers to pick up wherever they left off, whether on their phone or computer.  There seems to be more flash to this app when compared to Amazon's Kindle for Android.  The search features are fairly intuitive as well.  Can't wait to see how it functions on an Android tablet.  Take her for a spin here.

App Score: 4/5

  3. I'm curious...about how many books do they have available? I have been considering getting an Android and it seems like this would be something I would invest in.

  4. Google books is nice, but i think you need an eBookReader for that, not just a phone.

  5. eBooks might become popular but it will always be like music. I'd rather buy a real book and put it in my bookcase or else later on there will only be a computer in my house! I mean, you get some guests and you tell hem : check my great eBooks collection!?

  9. E-books are a great idea, but reading them on a phone just seems ridiculous, the font and resolution are so small.
